Jeff has tutored our 13 year old daughter for about a year and a half, and what a difference it has made! Throughout her whole life, she always considered herself bad at math. Jeff worked with her over the summer, and by the time school started, she was progressing by leaps and bounds through algebra and geometry. She has advanced well beyond her classmates and is now getting straight A's in honors math. She has developed a reputation at school for being a "math whiz." Her confidence and curiosity in math have blossomed enormously. She loves math games and word problems, spending her free time playing with math. I would not be surprised if she chooses a career in a STEM related discipline. Jeff is one of these rare teachers who can take difficult, abstract concepts and make them accessible and fun to children. He has enormous patience and kindness in helping her work through the problems herself. She looks forward to her tutoring sessions. He is a very special teacher indeed. Many years from now, I know my family will look back fondly and gratefully on his influence in her life.

Jeff has worked with my teenage son, Jack, for the last 2 years with high level math such as Honors Geometry and Honors Algebra 2/Trigonometry. Jack did online/Covid school his freshman year which I believe resulted in him being a little behind on math skills. He is a smart kid, but definitely benefits from one-on-one instruction to master concepts. We sent him to a local tutoring center, but found that it was more homework babysitting and less personal attention. I found Jeff online and decided to give him a try. He was friendly, easy to schedule, reasonably priced and best of all effective! Jack started receiving A's on his tests and ended up with A's in both honors math classes. Jeff also laid a good foundation for SAT math, where Jack scored in the top 2% of test takers. I highly recommend Jeff!

Jeff Goodrich is the absolute best math tutor! My daughter, Kiley, was failing math in middle school and didn’t care much for it either. I knew she needed some help. That’s when Jeff showed up at our doorstep. He was so polite and professional, and it didn’t take long for Kiley to warm up to him. He knew how to engage Kiley and really teach her the things she needed to know to succeed. Most importantly, he taught her how to think for herself!
